I am talking about your All American Sports Grill with lots of tasty cholesterol dishes. There are some salads too! Mrs. Obama hasn’t discover this healthy hangout, yet! Hello, this is ELHarris and I think you know what I’m talking about with Randy Jones. If you aren’t familiar with him, let me share some goodies with you. The Menu; I’m thinking about RJ’s BBQ Shrimp Cakes myself — hum, hum delicious. Now for the All American guy himself; Mr. Jones:
Randy was drafted by the San Diego Padres in 1972
He made his major league debut on June 16, 1973. Randy’s accomplishments include the 1976 Cy Young Award (22-14, a 2.74 ERA), an All Star game save (1975) and win (1976), the Sporting News NL Pitcher of the Year, and Sporting News Comeback Player of the Year.
Randy also established several major league records in fielding by a NL pitcher, and holds several of the Padres pitching records. Randy was traded to the New York Mets in 1980, and ended his career with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1983.
Randy’s uniform number, 35, was retired by the Padres upon the ending of his stellar baseball career.
