Hello; This is ELHarris and I enjoy music and I love Jazz, soon when I heard that someone from the Chamber Society has won over Justin Bieber, of course I did my homework. Esperaza Spalding –first this is awarded by ones peers, second; in this arena Chamber Music (cello and bass) are not the usual categories that thrive and third she did not have an exotic name or initial, this was strange. However, The Best New Artist of the Year award was given to Ms Spalding and I’m anticipating hearing her in person. I trust we all will hear more of this talent. I think that she is the real thing. Congratulations Ms. Spalding.
